More known for its printers and projectors, Epson recently launched a new line of products called LabelWorks, their first venture in portable label printers.
These new Epson LabelWorks printers are for those who want an easy way to label and tag everything at home or in the office. Mothers who wants to put name stickers on their kids’ school items or small business owners who needs their supplies and document folders labeled. There were three LabelWorks models announced. The most basic ones include the portable LW-300 and LW-400 which prints narrow strips (up to 18mm) of sticker for basic labeling needs. The LW-300/ LW-400 are equipped with 14 font types, 10 styles, 459 symbols and 89 frames for unique customizations. It can also store up to 50 custom designs for convenient reprinting of label designs.
The LW-900P, on the other hand, can be connected to a PC or Apple Mac OS computer to personalize and create larger labels (up to 36mm). Aimed at vertical industries like logistics, manufacturing, and building management, it’s really useful for printing barcodes for tracking inventories.
These new Epson LabelWorks will be available this June at the following prices:
- LW-300 – Php2,520
- LW-400 – Php3,150
- LW-900P – Php9,500
There will be a number of sticker tapes available in different colors and designs in National Bookstore and Anson’s. A plain black on white roll will retail for about Php500.
