Energizer introduces its most recent installment as the juggernaut of all smartphone batteries, the Energizer Power Max P18K Pop. Its 18,000mAh power capacity can last for days, certainly a viable device to take during long travels or when working outdoors where massive power support is useful.
The brand asserts the mobile can last in a week of standard usage, 48 hours of continuous video playback, 100 hours of music playback, and 90 hours of call time. It comes with fast-charging 18W capability and has a power-share function that turns it into a power bank to charge other devices via USB-C. A full charge of the Energizer Power Max P18K Pop would take 8 hours to complete.
What it has in battery power, it lacks in design which is pretty standard. Also, the 18mm device is a bit heavy to lug around even with its 6.2-inch LCD display. Surprisingly, the handset carries Mediatek Helio P70 processor and has 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and runs on Android 9.
Energizer Power Max P18K Pop’s camera is still up for debate, but it features a pop-up module with two lenses in the front: a 16MP and 2MP. A tri-lens setup is found at the back, a 12MP main sensor along with 5MP and 2MP lenses.
Energizer has yet to announce an exact release date but is pushing to launch this summer 2019. It comes in a standard Black and Blue color and retails for $680 (P35,175).
