Rounding up the list of new smartphones that were launched earlier today is the Elephone S1 – 5-inch smartphone with a fingerprint scanner that has a sub-Php4K price tag.
Apart from the fingerprint scanner, the components found on the Elephone S1 are what you’d typically see from an entry level handset. It’s got a 5-inch 720p display, a subpar 8GB internal storage, 1GB of RAM, and a MediaTek MT6580 octa-core processor.
One thing to note though is that the Elephone S1 has double-sided glass design which is somewhat similar to the iPhone 4/4S.
