The Department of Transportation and Communications has announced that the latest point-to-point (P2P) bus route from Ortigas to Makati (and vice versa) is now operational.
The new route for the Premium P2P Bus Service started on Monday, February 29 and is currently operated by HM Transport. The regular fare for the transport service is Php50, but PWDs, students, and senior citizens are only required to pay Php40 for their ride.
The earliest ride passengers can take from Robinson’s Galleria, Ortigas going to Makati is 5:30AM. Every succeeding 30 minutes from that point on until 8PM, there will be additional buses ready to pick up passengers from Ortigas and drop them off in Makati.
Passengers heading to Makati will be picked up at Robinson’s Galleria and can either alight at the designated stops at Glorietta 3 and Robinson’s Summit Tower along Ayala Avenue or at the end of the bus route at Parks Square, Makati.
The Makati-Ortigas route, on the other hand, starts at a later time. The premium P2P bus services from Makati are scheduled to transport passengers starting at 10:30 in the morning and every succeeding 30 minutes after that until 8:30 PM.
The pick-up locations of the Makati-Ortigas route will be at Park Square, in front of the Dusit Thani hotel. Unlike the opposite route, P2P buses heading to Ortigas doesn’t have designated stops along the way, and will only unload passengers at Robinson’s Galleria.
