DJI just released a new 3-axis stabilized handheld camera called the DJI Osmo Pocket, which allows users to capture movie-quality videos anytime, anywhere. DJI has been known to produce quality gimbals, and the Osmo Pocket uses a new algorithm that ensures better control accuracy and control speed. This also allows the camera to precisely adjust for even the smallest movements.
The Osmo Pocket is equipped with a 1/2.3-inch sensor and an aperture of f/2.0. The camera can shoot 4K videos in 60fps, take 12MP photos, and comes with different shooting modes that make filming easy. Among its smart features is the FPV (First Person View) Mode which makes the camera follow the movement of the gimbal, an ActiveTrack Mode which follows any defined subject, and a FaceTrack Mode which helps in keeping your face within the shot as it follows you around.
DJI also created an app called the DJI Mimo dedicated to the Osmo Pocket. The app is built with editing tools you can play around with to put finishing touches on your photos and videos. The DJI Osmo Pocket retails for $349 (Php 18,300).
