Dell Unveils the Next-Generation Laptops, the Vostro 14 5000 and Vostro 14 3000

Dell today introduced the new Vostro laptops, the Vostro 14 5000 and Vostro 14 3000. Dell designed both models to address the specific needs and demands of small businesses in the Philippines. These laptops were built to enhance productivity while touting exceptionally affordable prices.

Vostro 14 5000:The Perfect Choice For Small Businesses

The new Vostro 14 5000 laptops follow the mantras of design, portability, and power. First and foremost, this particular model weighs around 1.6 kg, and is about 18.5 mm thin. The 5000 variant can be purchased in two smooth metal colors: Era Gray and Jingle Gold.

In terms of specs, the Vostro 14 5000 contains Intel 7th Generation Core i7 processors, and up to 1TB HDD. They also offer up to 16GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB. For those concerned with network or device security, these laptops provide an optional fingerprint reader with Windows Hello, and storage for encryption keys with hardware TPM 2.0.

Vostro 14 3000: For the Budget-Conscious

Like the 5000, the 3000 laptop comes  built with a lightweight and thin build. For colors, consumers can choose between Midnight Blue, Black and Sparkling White. Built with Intel 7th Generation Core i5 processors, the 3000 supports hard drives up to 1TB, or 128GB SSD.  Additionally, this model has up to 8GB in internal memory.  It’s the perfect tool for small organizations looking for productivity. Similarly, the 3000 laptops also come with an optional built in fingerprint rider with Windows Hello.

Pricing and Availability

The Vostro 14 5000 and 3000laptops will be available near the end of September 2016 in the Philippines. The 5000 will have a starting price of Php 45,000, while the 3000 will have an SRP of Php 35,000. For more information, visit the official Dell website.
