Dell appointed new country managers Ricky Benipayo Lopez for Large Enterprise and Public Sector (LE/Pub) and Christopher “œChris” Papa for Small and Medium Business (SMB).
Dell announced the global reorganization last 2008 into three major customer segments ““ Large Enterprise, Public Sector and Small and Medium Business. The Large Enterprise and Public Sector markets are combined to form one division under Lopez’s management.
Philippines is the first South Asian country who undergone such reorganization after United States, China, India, Japan and Australia did so.
Lopez and Papa are responsible on growing Dell’s commercial business across the region, delivering simple, flexible, high-value solutions to Large Enterprise and Public Sector customers and SMB clients.
“œThe extensive background, acquired by Lopez and Papa during their time as team leaders will continue to drive Dell’s customer experience based on these principles,” South Asia Developing Markets (SADMG) managing director Varinderjit Singh commented.
To give you a brief background about the two, Lopez is a 17-year IT veteran who started as a local Systems Integrator to a Systems Engineer focused on Microsoft technology while Papa began with Hewlett-Packard Philippines Corporation in 1996 as a Technical Sales and Senior Consultant. They already served Dell as sales managers before promoted in their current positions.
