Dell recently launched their latest Inspiron laptops and their Inspiron 7000 is the thinnest and strongest they ever made. It comes in two models, the Inspiron 14 and Inspiron 15.
This MacBook-inspired laptop form Dell has a forged aluminum design with diamond-cut beveled edges give you a solid, sturdy feel while handling. The Inspiron 14 measures just over half and inch thickness which is 27% thinner than the previous-generation Inspiron laptop 14z.
It comes in 14-inch and 15-inch model with the 10-finger capacitive touch display having an edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass NBT for durability. It comes standard with HD resolution but a higher model has Full HD with a vibrant 300-nit display.
Flipping the cover of the Inspiron 7000 you’ll see the aluminum keys which are backlit and also spill-proof, a spacious palm rest, and a generous-sized trackpad. Running on Windows 8, the Inspiron 7000 sports Intel’s 4th generation Core i5 or i7 processors which are more powerful, have significantly improved Intel HD graphics, and at the same time energy-efficient. A 6GB RAM comes standard with 500GB HDD + 32GB SSD hybrid storage.
As for ports, there are 2 USB 3.0 (one with PowerShare), one USB 2.0, HDMI, Ethernet port, headphone mic combination jack, and a multi-media card reader. Battery life can go up to almost 9 hours for the Inspiron 14 and 7.5 hours for the Inspiron 15. Price starts at Php48,990 for the 14-incher while the Inspiron 15 will cost you Php58,990.
