Last night, Creative the maker of SoundBlaster launched their wireless audio solution. Designed for home audio system, the company challenged the traditional wired audio setup by bringing portability, convenience and multi-application. They call their technology PureWireless.
Three product lines were introduced – from wireless speaker systems, headsets and Bluetooth Mp3 players.
The ZiiSound Dx series consists of the ZiiSound D5x wireless one-piece speaker, ZiiSound D3x wireless one-piece speaker and ZiiSound DSx wireless subwoofer. With the introduction of pure wireless modularity, Creative changes how consumers can purchase a home audio system. In this revolutionary new system,wireless speakers connect independently to stereo Bluetooth devices such as the iPhone, Blackberry, Android phone, iPad or Creative ZiiO tablet, and can also be configured so more speakers are connected wirelessly to form a multi-channel home audio system. The ZiiSound Dxseries also features renowned apt-X audio technology for outstanding sound quality. If you feel you need more subwoofer which I felt when they demoed it with a movie, you can add up to 4 subwoofers to your audio system without having to add more wires to your setup. As for your music listening pleasure, hands-down this audio system is already comparable to that of JBL and Bose.
Configuration is easy, if you have paired a bluetooth device before you will never go wrong in setting up this audio system.
What is amazing with this audio system is if you lack budget, you can start buying one speaker system at a time. Just connect them when funds become available. The wireless speaker system is very easy to set up, however, these models by Creative don’t have HDMI and digital inputs.
The Dx series, the bluetooth headsets and mp3 players will be available this September at your favorite Apple premium reseller stores.
