You can now build playlists together with your friends, thanks to Spotify’s new feature for Facebook Messenger. Facebook and Spotify made a start last year by making it easier to share songs from Spotify to Messenger. They are building on that foundation with this new feature. Create shared Spotify playlists on Facebook Messenger
Using the existing Spotify chat extension for the Facebook app, users can now make group playlists. Not only that, but this playlist can be shared with friends. Those friends can add or delete new songs as they like. There is more fun to it as there can be an exchange of ideas, rather than just receiving a bunch of songs as an already made list.
Perfect for road trips and parties according to Messenger. Your friends don’t even need to be Spotify subscribers to access the playlist. Every member of the group can add and remove songs through the Messenger app itself.
