From the makers of the Thrill 430x and its 4130mAh battery comes another thrilling device, the CloudFone Thrill 450q, which just started making its way in stores this week.
Now the Thrill 450q doesn’t have the stamina of the 430x but it does have a slim and good-looking body. It sports a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display with One Glass Solution (OGS) technology for a picture quality that looked like its ready to pop out of the screen. To add to its looks, it has a notification LED incorporated in the design at the bottom of the phone. A silver band running along the sides adds accent to this phone.
The Thrill 450q is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor along with 1GB RAM and runs on stock Android 4.1 Jelly Bean so performance runs smoothly. It also has a 4GB internal storage with microSD support of up to 32GB. Its dual-SIM slots come in the form of a microSIM and a regular SIM.
The back panel is made of plastic with a glossy finish and a protruding 12-megapixel camera with BSI sensor. Upon short testing, the camera has good output and is relatively fast to focus for its class. There’s also a 3-megapixel camera up front.
Battery on the Thrill 450q is just at 1800mAh but that’s the price you have to pay to get a slim-looking phone. As an added bonus, CloudFone is shipping a 4400mAh portable power bank with every purchase of the Thrill 450q. This phone is already available in Black and White with an SRP of Php8,999.
