The Moto Z Play has been a hot subject in many smartphone circles. This has been especially true ever since the announcement of the Moto Z and Moto Z Force. Unfortunately, there has not been much official word from Lenovo/Motorola about the Z play. That is of course, until someone spotted a promotional poster in China. According to this Chinese poster, the Moto Z Play will hit the market sooner than anyone thinks.
The poster gives some details to the rumored specs of the Z Play. It will apparently include a 16-megapixel camera and a 36-hour battery when on standby. TENAA already certified the device and has even shown up on Geekbench. Other purported Moto Z Play specs:
- 5.5-inch display, 1080p
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor
- 3GB RAM
- 64GB storage with microSD support
- 5-megapixel front camera
- 16-megapixel rear camera
- 3,600mAh battery
Rumors also state that the 3.5mm headphone jack that was removed on the Moto Z and Moto Z Force will make a return with the Z Play. For now, Moto fans might want to wait until early September to see if this information will be correct.
