The Cherry Mobile Omega has been teased since late last year and now it’s officially here with specs and price that might just make you stop whatever you’re doing to ponder about it.
Just like the screen size of the recently-mentioned CM Cruize, the Omega has a 5.2-inch display but the resolution is still unknown at the moment. You’ll also get a 1GHz dual-core processor here and dual-SIM capability, and also a hefty 2300mAh battery which is an improvement from Cherry Mobile’s previous smartphones.
What makes this different from their other dual-SIM, dual-core phones is that it already uses Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.

Everything else is pretty ordinary if you’re following the recent releases of Cherry Mobile. You’ll get 4GB ROM and 512 MB RAM (gasp), 5 megapixel rear camera with a VGA front one, 3, FM Radio, GPS, the usual things.
If you want to get the CM Omega, I heard it’s already available at the Cherry Mobile kiosk in SM North EDSA. It sells for just Php6,699 by the way which is just right for a CM smartphone of this caliber.
