When Cherry Mobile came up with the dual-core Flare last year, it literally changed the game for the local mobile brand market. Now here’s another what the company call their next game changer in the form of the reincarnated Flare, dubbed simply as Flare 2.0.
The Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0 is basically the original Flare with a slightly (just slightly) different looks but sports a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. The back panel is now glossy from the previous matte black offering.
Everything else is pretty much intact including the price of Php3,999 which was a huge factor on the success of the original Flare.
A rundown on the specs of Flare 2.0 will give you a 4-inch WVGA display, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage with microSD support, 5-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, and a VGA front facing camera. Battery is just a little bit higher at 1550mAh (1500mAh in the original Flare).
The Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0 is now available at SM North City EDSA for Php3,999 before it hits other stores soon after.
So what do you think? Personally, I don’t find this reveal as exciting as the first Flare. However, this is just one of the three new products Cherry Mobile is planning to unveil in the near future.
