By default, Windows installations run the primary user account as part of the Administrators group. This is very convenient for the user, as he/she has the ease and power to do anything on the machine, such as install software, change system settings/configurations and unfortunately, also (unintentionally) install viruses and other malware.

I was hooked with Firefox from day one. I’d been following Mozilla’s releases since they came up with their first beta releases. I actually switched from the full Mozilla suite to Firefox when I heard about how fast, light and secure it was.
Mozilla has more or less perfected version 1.0x; they’re now at stable release 1.07. Now version 1.5 is under development–in fact, Mozilla has recently released 1.5 beta 2 for public use and testing.

Ubuntu Breezy Badger will be out real soon now but I can’t help but talk about the Preview of it 😉 I mean, it’s good and I am sure that once Breezy’s out officially, it will be much better 😀
I have installed Ubuntu Breezy Badger Preview on my office desktop computer last week. Installing it was so easy because I just used the default settings and most of it pretty much worked out of the box which totally rocks! During the installation, I saw the usual Ubuntu interface. Blue background, mostly text – not quite graphical compared to Mandrake/Mandriva. It was pretty much selecting stuff from the menu then pressing enter, then leaving it for a while.
