Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility issues? A handful of my blog audience have complained about my blog not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome. Do you have any recommendations to help fix this issue?

tried it on my Android phone and yes it won’t give me turn by turn directions. 🙁 I think Ovi maps would fare better.

I doubt, that the routing functions including turn-restrictions and other ‘special’ rules on Philippine roads can be managed by OpenStreetMap or Google maps, yet. I tested them both and they are not really usable for all day driving. Also OSM is not usable on the provinces, to less details.

Maybe the maps, either Google Maps and also OSM are looking pretty acurate, but without professional local support they are far from usable.

I would not change my dedicated GPS with an iPhone for another smartphone also because all what I tested until now had quite bad satellite receiption, only low speaker volume and if available, the car-holder and -charger equipment is almost same price than such GPS units.

😉

It is a freeware gps map and navigation tool and it works on philippines too. I have perosnally tried it and the routing is pretty accurate.

I don’t think there is much point in purchasing a standalone gps nowadays, android phones already have the capability to do gps. 🙂
