Canon recently unveiled its new flagship PowerShot model, the PowerShot G1 X Mark II.
Packed with the best features a compact camera can have, the PowerShot G1 Mark II provides the same high quality image that of an interchangeable lens camera complemented by its DIGIC 6 imaging processor. The 12.8 MP PowerShot G1 Mark II camera has a 1.5″ type CMOS sensor and a 3-inch tilt-type touch panel LCD. It has a large aperture lens (f/2.0-3.9) equipped with 5x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom and a focal length of 12.5mm – 62.5mm (24-120mm equivalent). It has a max shutter speed of 1/4000 sec and a max ISO of 12800. The PowerShot G1 also has an optional Electronic Viewfinder and NFC for connectivity.
No price has been announced yet but expect it to be around Php 30-35k when it hit the local stores.
