Canon has recently announced its latest addition to the EOS range, the Canon EOS 1200D. The entry-level DSLR camera uses the same DIGIC 4 image processor as its predecessor but now has an 18-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor. The Canon EOD 1200D also has a bigger 3″ LCD screen and can now shoot Full HD movies at up to 30 fps.
Named as Canon EOS Kiss X70 in Japan and Canon EOS Rebel T5 in the US, the Canon EOS 1200D is priced at $550 or around Php 24,560 bundled with the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II lens. Expect the Canon EOS 1200D to reach the Philippine shores on March.
