As the days pass, the world awaits the official release of the BlackBerry DTEK60. This smartphone, which first made an appearance earlier this month, has now been leaked thanks to the people at WinFuture.de.
The probable specs of the DTEK60 are as follows:
- 5.5? 2560 x 1440 Quad HD Display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor
- 4GB RAM
- 32GB Storage
- 21-megapixel rear-facing camera
- 8-megapixel Front-facing camera
- Fingerprint sensor
- Convenience key
- USB Type-C
- 3,000mAh Battery w/ QC3.0
This device follows the DTEK50, which was released back in July, and sports a design similar to the Alcatel Idol 4. In fact, this might just be the last device manufactured by BlackBerry. This comes after they confirmed their plans to license the manufacturing process to TCL. In terms of outer build and design, the body of the DTEK60 ad DTEK50 look almost identical. A most notable exception to this is the fingerprint sensor, and lesser examples include the placement of the rear camera and BlackBerry logo.
As far as the rumor mill knows, the report from WinFuture suggests an October release, and an SRP of CAD 699 (around PHP 25,525). For now, be sure to stay tuned for more news on BlackBerry’s new flagship.
