Global wearables leader Fitbit recently introduced new methods of premium guidance and coaching with Fitbit Coach. How will the application accomplish this? By analyzing Fitbit data and activity levels to deliver a custom curriculum of workouts and tools.
‘This new premium service marks the next chapter for Fitbit – bringing smarter, adaptive and more personalized software experiences to our users that help drive positive health outcomes, thereby creating lifelong Fitbit customers’
– Jon Oakes, Fitbit VP for Products
The Fitbit Coach rebrands the current Fitstar Personal Trainer app. This also gets mixed with popular dynamic video workouts and Audio Coaching sessions. Not only that, but world-class experts will develop these sessions. Basically, the intent for these sessions focus on increasing endurance, speed, and form. Additionally, Guided Health Programs will provide easy-to-follow guidance and education regarding behavioral changes for health.
For 2018, Fitbit sets its sights on growing these premium offerings. Soon enough, it will also include advanced tools and a library of programs and workouts developed by Fitbit’s Advisory Panel. The goal for this vision focuses on personalizing fitness for any user.
These new coaching services will launch with the Fitbit Coach personal training app on Android, iOS, and Windows in Fall 2017. Plus, it will get the intorductory price of USD 7.99 per month (around 408 pesos), or USD 39.99 per year (around PHP 2,038).
