Asus just unveiled their ZenFone 4 family of smartphones. The unique trait of the smartphone lineup is that all of them have a dual rear or dual front camera set-up. However, each series of the lineup has it’s own special trait. The ZenFone 4 Max series puts focus on the battery. The two phones have a 5,000 mAh battery that can do much more than just power the phones.

ASUS Zenfone 4 Max Lite Now Available in PH

Asus ZenFone 4 Max Series – The Features

The ZenFone 4 Max Pro has a dual rear camera setup. The main shooter is a 16MP camera with F2.0 aperture, LED Flash, and Electronic Image Stabilization for shake-free videos. A 120° wide-angle camera is it’s secondary shooter. The phone can record full HD videos at 30 fps, it can also take pictures while recording. The PixelMaster 4.0 software maximizes what you can do with the camera as well. It has a Super Resolution (64 megapixels) mode, GIF Animation, and Panorama just to name a few.

You can also take great selfies with the device. The  16MP front shooter has F2.0 aperture and Softlight LED flash for softer skin texture and true tone colors. It also has it’s own range of options from the PixelMaster 4.0 like the 140° Selfie Panorama mode.

Aside from the cameras, the phone also has a massive 5,000 mAh battery. It can last up to 46 days on 4G standby, 40 hours 3G talk time, 22 hours of video playback, and 26 hours browsing on WiFi. The phone takes a while to drain but it charges fast. The phone is fully charged in 4 hours, and a 15 minute charge already gets 3 hours of talk time. On top of that the phone can even serve as a power bank. The device comes with an on-the-go cable that allows you to charge other devices with its reverse charging technology.

Asus ZenFone 4 Max Series – The Specs and the Differences

To match these great features, the phone has a 5.5-inch IPS display with Bluelight filter for eye care. Also, it is powered by up to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa-core processor. The system memory of up to 3GB RAM allows for great multi-tasking as well. You can store a lot in it too with it’s 32GB ROM that can expand up to 256GB.

The ASUS ZenFone 4 Max

The Asus ZenFone 4 Max Pro shares very similar specs with the Asus ZenFone 4 Max. They share practically the same processor, display, even battery. Their key difference is their camera setup. The Asus ZenFone 4 Max sports a 13MP main shooter on the back, along with the 120° wide angle secondary camera. The front camera is an 8MP shoooter with an F2.2 aperture, and a wider 85° field of view.

The ASUS ZenFone 4 Max retails for Php 9,995 in the Philippines.
