Coming in as a competitive mid-range challenger, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 is the latest addition to the Taiwanese smartphone company’s “battery kings.” Here’s a quick take on what it has to offer.
Build with a premium unibody look, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 shows off a 5.99-inch FHD+ display in 18:9 screen ratio in 2160 x 1080 resolution. This houses the device’s 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 which is the same as the ZenFone 5. For its memory and storage, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 has a combination of 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM.
As we mentioned, this device is one of ASUS’s battery kings as it has a whopping 5,000mAh battery which ASUS claims to last up to 12 hours of uninterrupted gaming. It also comes with fast charging support.
Similar to its siblings in ASUS’s ZenFone Max lineup, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 has dual rear cameras comprised of a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensors. These two cameras work together to produce decent photos, and can automatically detect shooting scenes. Its front camera jots down an 8-megapixel snapper with an 85.5-degree wide-angle lens.
Other important things to note include an Android 8.1 Oreo OS and a fingerprint sensor.
The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 is up on pre-order starting today, June 8, in Lazada Philippines. It will be officially available across all ASUS concept stores starting June 25 for PhP 9,995.
