After teasing us with the morse code video, ASUS finally unveiled the ASUS ZenFone 2. As expected, the ASUS ZenFone 2 has 4 GB of RAM, the first smartphone to carry such. Powered by a 2.3 GHz 64-bit Intel Atom processor Z3580, the ZenFone 2 has a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with 403ppi pixel density and 3.3mm bezel giving the smartphone a 72% screen-to-body ratio.
The ZenFone 2 has a 13 MP PixelMaster rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and 5 MP front camera for selfies. The LTE-enabled ZenFone 2 is equipped with fast charging technology that can charge its battery to 60% in just 39 minutes.
ASUS will also be offering the ZenFone 2 in 2GB RAM/16GB ROM configuration. Pricing starts at USD 199 for the lower ZenFone 2 variant.
