Asus launched the new Asus X407 and X507 at Asus 360 showcase at SM Megamall. Both laptops feature compact and lightweight designs for daily computing.
Powered with Intel i7 processors and Nvidia GeForce MX110 discrete graphics, both also come with dual storage designs. Users may also pair the 1Tb HDD with an M.2 SSD.
Both the X407 and X507 boast slim bezels, which Asus dubbed the NanoEdge display. Both come with a 178° viewing angle and more screen real estate for users. With a 7.1mm bezel and a 73.8% screen-to-body ratio, the 14″ model weighs in at just 1.42 kg. Meanwhile, the larger 15.6-inch model comes with a 21.9mm profile and weighs 1.68 kg.
The X507 includes a USB 3.1 Gen 1, two USB 2.0, and an HDMI port, as well as a microSD card reader. It also comes with 2×2 802.11 ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 capabilities. On the other hand, users can rely on fast charging to get a near flat battery to 60%.
Furthermore, both entry-level laptops also feature a fingerprint sensor for easy login with Windows Hello. It features a 360° recognition function, which ensures accurate scanning even if the user’s hand is wet.
Both users come in Star Grey or Icicle Gold color variants.

Both laptops will begin selling in the Philippines come third week of March. Available exclusively at Lazada Philippines starting at Php 27,995, both arrive at authorized Asus dealer and reseller shelves April this year.
