Asus Philippines has officially announced that the VivoWatch is now available in the country through one of company’s authorized re-seller, Octagon Computer Superstore.
Launched around the same time last year, the Asus VivoWatch sports a 1.28-inch TFT LCD screen with a polymer network liquid crystal memory underneath it. This kind of display setup allows the VivoWatch to be more energy efficient compared to other flashy smartwatches and last for 10 days on a single full charge according to Asus.
Another notable feature of the VivoWatch is its IP68-certified body which allows users to bring the watch to virtually anywhere they want to go. The weather-ready chassis houses all the components of the watch which include a bunch of sensors that tracks the user’s step count, heart rate, length of sleep, calories burnt, and even the UV index and their happiness (didn’t even know that it’s possible to quantify the latter).
The Asus VivoWatch is now available in the country and can be had for Php6,990.
