ASUS and the Republic of Gamers (ROG) recently announced the ASUS ROG Strix X99 Gaming motherboard, the new member of the latest ROG Strix Series lineup, and an ATX motherboard based on the Intel X99 chipset. The ROG Strix X99, in fact, is also built to maximize the potential of another powerful piece of computing hardware, the LGA 2011-3 Intel Core i7 X-series processors.

ROG Strix X99 Gaming is the first ROG Strix motherboard, and promises to deliver optimum performance, and exciting innovation to appeal to a modern gaming audience that values individuality and customization. For example, the ROG Strix X99 Gaming allows gamers and PC builders to customize their builds with a multitude of colors through ten LED effects via the ASUS Aura, an intuitive lighitng control software. Next-gen gaming hardware best describes the ROG Strix X99 Gaming, which runs SupremeFX, Sonic Radar II, Intel Ethernet, and GameFirst technologies. First, the shielded SupremeFX brings high-quality audio to both headsets and speakers with a 115dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Second, the Sonic Radar II displays a helpful overlay that changes the playing field by displaying the possible location of other players or in-game enemies. Third, the Intel Gigabit Ethernet reduces CPU overhead and optimizes the computer so that more power can be channeled to the game. Finally, the GameFirst IV optimizes network traffic for lag-free online gaming, allowing for a faster, seamless experience.

Furthermore, the ROG Strix X99 Gaming also has 5-Way Optimization for easy fine-tuning of hardware settings, the new ASUS SafeSlot, a much more durable and damage-resistant PCIe slot and efficient data transfers with onboard U.2, USB 3.1 Type-A and C, M.2, 2×2 Wi-Fi with MU-MIMO. The ASUS ROG Strix X99 Gaming motherboard is also slated to support ThunderboltEX 3, an Intel-certified Thunderbolt™ 3 card that enables breathtaking bi-directional speeds up to 40Gbps, which is four-times faster than other PC data-transfer cables.

The ASUS ROG Strix X99 GAMING motherboard will be released July 2016 with an SRP of Php 19,160.
