Two ASUS Transformer Pads were launched yesterday, the high-end TF700 which is the Infinity, and its more affordable sibling, the TF300 which we did a brief hands-on back in April.
These 10.1-inch Android tablets were announced a few months ago and it’s making its way in our shelves just now with a price tag of Php37,995 for the Infinity (TF700) and Php24,995 for the TF300. Each sports the same NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor and will come with its own keyboard dock for better productivity and longer battery life.
So what’s the difference between the two?
The Infinity has a more brushed aluminum Zenbook feel to it, even on its keyboard, a Full HD Super IPS+ 600 nits display, and 64GB internal storage. The Transformer Pad TF300 on the other hand has a rubbery polycarbonate lid with a plasticky keyboard, WXGA IPS display, and 32GB storage.
