Good news, ZenFone users! Your ZenFone device might just be one of the smartphones to receive an Android 8.0 update as the Taiwanese smartphone brand ASUS officially announced its roll out.
As shown on the photo above, the first one to receive the OS update will be the ASUS ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) slated to have the Android Oreo by the end of this month. Meanwhile, the ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL), ZenFone 4 Max (ZC554KL), ZenFone Max Plus M1 (ZB570TL), and the ZenFone 3 Laser (ZC551KL) will have the update on the month of July.
Noticeably, these models are old ones. We can also expect the newly-announced ASUS ZenFone 5Q to have this update since it only has an Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.
No official exact date of the Android 8.0 roll out for the mentioned ZenFone models so its better to check the update page of your smartphone from time to time.
