ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has introduced the new Strix XG HDR gaming monitor lineup–the Strix XG438Q, the Strix XG49VQ, and the Strix XG32VQR.
All three ROG monitors features FreeSync2 HDR for stutter-free, low-latency gameplay with better brightness and contrast. The ROG Strix monitors also has TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort Certification for flicker-free operation and low blue light output. In addition to that, the ASUS Shadow Boost technology improves the viewing experience in dark areas. They also come with GamePlus hotkeys and GameVisual presets.

Strix XG49VQ
The ROG Strix XG49VQ comes with 3840 x 1080 native resolution with 144Hz refresh rate. The 49-inch ROG monitor has 90% DCI-P3 coverage and can view up to three sources at the same time. This ultra-wide display is also VESA Display HDR 400 compliant.
Strix XG438Q
The world’s biggest and fastest 4K Freesync 2 HDR gaming monitor, the ROG Strix XG438Q offers 3840 x 2160 native resolution with 120Hz refresh rate. This 43-inch display features 90% DCI-P3 coverage, ASUS GameFast Input tehcnology, and Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes. This ROG monitor is also compliant to VESA’s Display HDR 600 standard.
Strix XG32VQR
The 32-inch ROG Strix XG32VQR boasts a 2560 x 1440 native resolution with 1800R curve and 144Hz refresh rate. This ASUS gaming monitor features 94% DCI-P3 coverage and complies to VESA’s Display HDR 400 requirement.
The ASUS ROG Strix XG49VQ and XG32VQ will start to sell by the end of January 2019. Meanwhile, the ASUS ROG XG438Q will be available in spring 2019.
