The Zenvolution just got bigger with the addition of new Zenfone models. ASUS Philippines confirmed the arrival of the Zenfone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Max, the two newest members of the Zenfone 3 series. Along with the three original models, the Laser and Max willl also arrive in the country on August.
These two models build on the standards set by their predecessors. They both feature a sophisticated design, world-class cameras, reliable performance benchmarks, and mobile longevity.
Form and Function
The ZenFone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Max both feature a 13-megapixel rear camera. This camera is equipped with the latest Sony IMX214 sensor that enables lag-free photo capture. Particularly, the ZenFone 3 Laser achieves focus in a fraction of a second (around 0.03 seconds). Besides that its laser has an operational range of 1.5, which is double the range of a regular smartphone. The camera also features a Low Light mode with pixel-merging technology. This means that the camera can capture much brighter photos in low-light areas without the use of flash.
The Laser and Max are both over 5 inches in size. Both also sport a chich aluminum alloy design built for sleek, sophisticated users. However, these Zenfone 3 phones don’t just look good. The body is also designed with elements that allow for a comfortable grip. Finally, both phones have a sandblasted matter surface with round edges, combined with a metallic-chambered edge around the display.
In terms of function, both come with a fingerprint sensor located near the top of its rear panel. This means that the index finger has easy access to the sensor. With a feature like this, the Zenfone 3 line promises better security for consumers.
The ZenFone 3 Laser comes in glacier silver and sand gold colors, while the Zenfone 3 Max can be purchased in either titanium gray, glacier silver, or sand gold.
Performance and Innovation
The ZenFone 3 Laser is built with a Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB of storage for maximum performance. Meanwhile, the Zenfone 3 Max brings a powerful Quad-Core 1.25Ghz processor, and a Mali T720 GPU. To add to that, the Max is also a long-lasting phone thanks to its 4,130mAh battery.
