ASUS Outs Zenfone AR, Built for Augmented Reality, packs 8GB of memory

ASUS presents the ZenFone AR as the world’s first 5.7-inch smartphone with 8GB RAM. Besides that, there’s also Tango and Daydream by Google implemented together. In addition, the AR makes history as only the second phone to feature augmented reality, after the Lenovo Phab 2.

To add, Tango is an innovative piece of augmented reality (AR) technology that affects how users interact with the real world.  The Daydream, meanwhile, allows high-quality, immersive VR experiences via smartphone. Tango allows the Zenfone AR to understand space and movement like a human.  This means an understanding of motion tracking, depth perception, and area.  Basically, it ‘sees’ and ‘feels’ the three-dimensional geometry and layout of its current location.

Finally, the Zenfone AR features the innovative TriCam system, as well. It consists of three rear cameras — a motion tracking, depth sensing, and a high-resolution 23MP camera. These enable the phone to create a 3D model of its surrounding and track motion.  On a separate, note, the AR will run Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box, a 3,300 mAh battery and an 8-megapixel front camera.
