Last week, Asus Philippines posted a teaser on its official Facebook page hinting at the upcoming release of the “next Laser”. Fast forward to today, and the local arm of the Taiwanese company has formally launched a new handset called the Asus ZenFone 2 Laser 5.5 S.
The most distinguishable improvement that Asus has done on the new ZenFone 2 Laser is the display. Not only did the screen grow in size, it also packs more pixels that are spread across the Gorilla Glass 4-laden 5.5-inch real estate.
Asus has also upgraded the internals of the ZenFone 2 Laser 5.5 S. It now sports a Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor with an Adreno 405 clocked at 450MHz and 3GB of RAM.
The internal storage was also bumped up to 32GB which can be further expanded through a microSD card.
