ASUS announced N3 series notebooks

When you see the “œN” model from ASUS, it means that it’s a notebook made for multimedia. ASUS recently announced two new N series notebooks, the N43JF and N53JQ.

ASUS N53 notebook

The new ASUS N Series notebooks feature the finest multimedia performance of any portable PC. They ship with powerful Intel Core processors, NVIDIA GeForce 400M graphics and the new SonicMaster audio standard. Also included are NVIDIA Optimus and ASUS Super Hybrid Engine technologies for improved power and battery life.

The N series notebooks are dedicated to delivering the best audio via the ASUS SonicMaster technology, a new audio hardware and software standard. It produces results on a par with standalone audio systems, offering deeper and richer bass, a wider frequency range for greater fidelity, an overall power upgrade of sound generating hardware, and distinct vocals.

These N3 notebooks also utilize the new discrete NVIDIA GeForce 400M series of graphics processors, based on Fermi technology with native DirectX11 support. They also use NVIDIA Optimus graphics switching technology, which alternates between integrated and discrete graphics processing, based on application demands.

N53JQ Specs:

  • Intel® Coreâ„¢ i7-740QM
  • Genuine Windows7 Home Premium
  • DDR3 1333MHz, up to 16GB
  • 15.6 inch FHD LED
  • NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M with 1GB GDDR3
  • 640GB (5400 rpm) HDD
  • DVD Super-Multi, Blu-ray combo, BD-RW
  • 2 megapixel webcam (optional)
  • USB 3.0
  • 2.9 kilograms
  • SRP: Php79,995

These two notebooks will be available locally by the end of the month.
