In just a short period of time since Apple released the new iOS 9.3, the tech giant has already two incremental updates to address pressing issues on the latest version of its operating system.
The latest revision, called the iOS 9.3.1, is aimed at squishing the bug that causes Apple devices to become unresponsive when users taps on a link on Safari web browser or other apps.
As this is not a major software build, iOS 9.3.1 doesn’t bring new software-based features to supported devices. For what it’s worth, users who’ve came across the aforementioned bug reports that the update fixes that issue, making this version of the OS a must have if you’re already upgraded to iOS 9.3.
Apple users should be automatically notified about the iOS 9.3.1 update, but in the event that you didn’t get a notification about it, you can manually check for the software update by heading over to Settings, General, and tapping on Software update.
