Well the Apple event didn’t give much surprise any more considering all the leaks on the net for the next iPhones. For old iPhone users though, the focus is on iOS 7 which Apple confirmed will be available starting on September 18.
iOS 7 is not your usual software update as it comes with a radical UI redesign that might surprise you. iOS 7 is now flatter in design but more colorful, psychedelically even. New icons and animations are also introduced in this update. On the software side, Apple revamped the Mail, Calendar, Music, Photo, and the Camera app.
Notable update aside from the looks would be the new Command Center which now gives you easy access to some useful settings. There’s also a new multitasking view, notification center, and Siri has been improved and can now speak to you with a male or female voice.
The iOS 7 update will be available on the iPhone 4, 4S, 5, iPod Touch 5th Gen, iPad 2, iPad with Retina, and the iPad mini.
