Rounding up the list of new hardware that Apple announced in the recently concluded event, the tech giant announced the twelfth tablet in its celebrated iPad portfolio, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
Unlike the first iPad Pro that Apple launched last year, the new model has a smaller display that measures 9.7 inches, similar to the size of the screen of iPads that came before it (with the exclusion of the iPad Mini of course).
Other than the screen size and some design cues though, the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro shares most of its features with the 12-inch iPad. These include the new Apple A9X processor, a revamped 12-megapixel rear iSight camera, and support for accessories like the Apple Pencil, detachable keyboard, as well as the new Lightning USB Camera Adapter and Lightning SD card reader.

There is also a new feature called the True Tone display which automatically adapts the color temperature of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro’s display to match the ambient lighting temperature of the room that the user is in.
