App Store web client gets much awaited refresh
The App Store web client and its new, revamped design just went live today, 9to5Mac reported first. With a completely refreshed design language, the new web-based App Store also sports a look closely similar to that of the iOS 11 one. However, the web client makes no focus on app stories and discoveries, unlike its mobile counterpart.
With a simplified interface, not much has changed with functionality and user experience. What did change, though, apart from more white space, seems to be the increased emphasis on app reviews.
Apple now shows iPhone X screenshots to indicate whether and app comes with optimization and support for the iPhone X. It also now reminds users that its apps, available exclusively on the App Store, can only run on iOS devices.
