Samsung just released a new beta version of the Android 9.0 Pie for Galaxy Note 9 earlier today. Several days ago, the rollout of the stable Pie started for Galaxy S9 and S9+ models, but it looks like Samsung is not giving up yet on its beta version.
The new update is the answer for several issues on the Android 9.0 Pie beta, such as delay in response when operating the camera, crashing and reloading issues, missing search bar in the dialer, and gesture response failures. The update also includes the December 2018 security patch (January 2019 security patch for some).
If this beta update works well, it may be the last one before the rollout of the stable version for Samsung Galaxy Note 9 begins.
If your Note 9 runs on the Android 9.0 Pie beta and the update hasn’t been prompted on your device yet, you may check for the update through the Software update option on your phone’s settings.
