Sometimes, it’s difficult to figure out what’s official and what’s not in the world of mobile tech. Flash Philippines recently came out on Facebook to announce that they have no plans to release an update to Android 7.0 Nougat for the Flash 2.
According to the Facebook post of the Flash Team, officially they have not yet supported the newest iteration of the Android 7.0 Nougat OS. This comes as a surprise as certain websites have been claiming that the Nougat OS accomodates the Flash 2 as part of the update lineup. For now, Flash advises all of its fans and customers to only download updates from official Flash sources. This will decrease the possible risk of phones becoming compromised because of a fake update.
For Flash 2 users looking to get a taste of the newest Android OS, they’ll have to wait until an official release comes their way. In the meantime, be sure to check out the official Flash FB page for updates.
