Alcatel has just announced its latest smartphone from the Flash series, the Alcatel Flash Plus 2. Powered by MediaTek’s latest Helio P10 chipset, the 5.5-inch Android Marshmallow smartphone promises 20% improvement in GPU performance and 30% less power consumption. The Dual-SIM, Dual 4G Flash Plus 2 features ‘Flash Charging’ technology which Alcatel claims to be 3 times faster than normal charging solutions, and can charge the Flash Plus 2’s 3000 mAh battery up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
The metal-clad Alcatel Flash Plus 2 has a 13MP AF main camera with f/2.0 aperture and ultra-fast 0.3 second focus speed paired with a 5MP f/2.2 front camera with LED Flash. Available in Gold and Silver, the Alcatel Flash Plus 2 will retail for USD 160 (Php 7,400+) for the 2GB version and USD 190 ( Php 8,800+) for the 3GB version. The premium smartphone will be making its way to the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore in the coming weeks.
