In this year’s Brand and Communication Design ballot, the Acer Day #MakeYourGreenMark campaign received a Red Dot award for advertising and 11 other awards for the brands initiatives, making the most winning entries for Acer in this competition.
Through a combination of creative promotions, CSR collaborations, and event entertainment, the Acer Day #MakeYourGreenMark campaign’s call to action contributed in amplifying Acer’s sustainability message. Acer also rallied 18 global ambassador to champion the #MakeYourGreenMark campaign.
With Acer Philippines’ “Green Mark” concert that featured famous Filipino artists, fans who participated in eco-friendly activities including making donations to The Green Earth Heritage Foundation and recycling plastic at The Plastic Flamingo, were given tickets to the “Green Mark” concert.
This campaign earned more than PHP 1,000,000 which will be used to plant 5,401 trees to restore degraded forests. The donation of more than 20 metric tons of plastic are also set to be converted into a variety of sustainable building materials.
Acer’s #Acer21DayChallenge, which was supported by Acer and Predator ambassadors including Sarah Geronimo, SB19, and Alodia Gosiengfiao, created a large environmental movement. This initiative was further expanded by TikTok’s viral influence, reaching a staggering 6.5 million individuals in the Philippines.
The prestigious Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design competition has been encouraging designers and businesses to enter since 1993. This contest celebrates the creative campaigns and their artists’ success. It also helped raise awareness and credibility of brands and initiatives across the global design community.
