Acer revealed the Iconia One 8 (B1-850), an 8-inch Android media tablet for families at CES 2016 held in Las Vegas NV. Priced at $100, the affordable Android tablet provides ample performance for web browsing, video playback and casual gaming. It also has Acer Kids Center app, a child-friendly interface with parental control features wherein parents can set a time limit for their children to use the tablet as well as limit content and accessible web pages.
The device features an 8 inch 720P HD IPS display with 10 point multi-touch. The tablet is powered by MediaTek quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 128 GB via micro SD slot and Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
Iconia One 8 will be available in blue, black and white colors and Acer said to release the product in February 2016.
