Well that was fast. According to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, there are over four million users who chose to upgrade to Windows 8 in just four days after its global launch last Oct. 26.
That’s an impressive number for an OS that introduced something drastic to what most PC users are used to. The new UI sure looks beautiful and a lot of Windows users just want to try it out. Coupled with the inexpensive upgrade cost (for a Windows software) of just $14.99, who wouldn’t want to grab the deal right?
If you’re still on the edge of the fence whether to upgrade or not, you have until February 28, 2013 to decide. You might also want to check my article over at Kristn on 5 things you should know before switching to Win 8.
Retail box version of Windows 8 Pro is at Php3,399 over at Villman. This can also be used to upgrade your Windows XP and up to Windows 8.
