When it comes to wallet-friendly smartphones with relatively decent specification, few can match the MyPhone My32 with its under Php5K price tag and competitive specs. That is until the MyPhone My32L came up, the supposedly toned down version of the My32 with a near identical feature set but costs one grand less.
We weren’t exaggerating when we said ‘near identical’. As you can see on the specs list of the two smartphones below, it’s hard to differentiate the one from the other just by skimming through its features.
A closer look at the list below, however, will reveal that the older of the two handset has twice more RAM than its ‘Lite’ counterpart. So the question here really is whether your budget can afford that extra Php1,000 to get the My32 with 2GB RAM, or just settle for the My32L that’s slightly cheaper but with half the RAM capacity of the non-lite model.

In our opinion, typical smartphone users will do just fine with the My32L and it’s 1GB RAM. It has all the tools to handle your daily smartphone needs. However, for users who do a lot of multitasking or uses memory-heavy apps, that additional 1GB RAM that the My32 has to offer can certainly go a long way.
So what do you guys think? Is the additional 1GB of RAM on the MyPhone My32 worth the extra moolah or are you better off getting the My32L? Be sure share your thoughts on the comments section below.
