Infinix has recently unveiled its newest technology, the E-Color Shift, at ShowStoppers CES 2024.
The E-Color Shift technology features an E Ink Prism 3, which allows mobile phone panels to change colors without consuming power. It also uses microstructures wherein color particles carry positive and negative charges, and with different applied voltages, the electric field within the microstructure changes, causes the color particles to move and display the desired colors.
The Infinix AirCharge and the Extreme-Temp Battery were also unveiled. With multi-coil magnetic resonance and adaptive algorithms, Infinix’s AirCharge allows wireless charging up to 20 centimeters and at 60-degree angles. By using frequencies under 6.78 MHz and 7.5 W of power, it ensures safety using protection circuits.
On the other hand, the Extreme-Temp Battery incorporates biomimetic electrolyte and fusion solid-state technology in its electrodes and operates seamlessly even in temperatures as low as -40°C.
Moreover, the ‘Infinix Carpool Show’ was introduced, in which influencers explore the future of mobile charging technologies and get a personal look at the advancements while traveling to CES 2024.
Liang Zhang, Deputy General Manager, at Infinix Mobility, said, “At Infinix, we are committed to providing user-centric solutions to Gen Z consumers worldwide. We are exploring further customization possibilities through a software application, enabling up to 60 customizable areas on the hardware with each area supporting various colors. Users can also personalize their phone’s back cover by displaying time, mood, and other features in a matrix arrangement. This approach allows users to express their individuality and convey distinctive information through unique phone designs, transcending basic color changes. This gives their device a fresh look and feel.”
